By using the Services, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms. If you are using the Services on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

To access certain features of the Services, you must create an account. When registering, you agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information; maintain and promptly update your account information; maintain the security and confidentiality of your login credentials; accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account; and notify us immediately of any unauthorized access or security breach.

You may not create an account using false or misleading information, use another person's account without permission, or create multiple accounts to circumvent restrictions or bans. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

The Services allow you to submit, post, and share content including movie reviews, ratings, comments, and profile information ("User Content"). You retain ownership of your User Content, but by posting it, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable, and transferable license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, distribute, and display your User Content in connection with operating and promoting the Services.

You represent and warrant that you own or have the necessary rights to post your User Content; your User Content does not infringe upon the intellectual property, privacy, or other rights of any third party; and your User Content complies with these Terms and all applicable laws.

Real Movie Reviews is a platform for thoughtful, substantive movie reviews. All reviews are subject to our content guidelines and automated moderation systems. Reviews must be a minimum of 50 words and demonstrate genuine engagement with the film being reviewed. Our AI-powered moderation system evaluates reviews for quality, relevance, and compliance with our community standards before publication.

Reviews may be rejected or removed if they contain hate speech, harassment, or discriminatory content; include spam, advertisements, or promotional material unrelated to the review; consist primarily of plot summaries without personal analysis; contain false or misleading information; violate copyright or other intellectual property rights; or otherwise violate these Terms or our community guidelines.

We reserve the right to remove, edit, or refuse to publish any User Content at our sole discretion, with or without notice.

You agree not to use the Services to post content that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, or otherwise objectionable; impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation; stalk, intimidate, or harass other users; post spoilers without appropriate warnings; engage in any form of spam, including repetitive posts or comments; attempt to manipulate ratings or reviews through fake accounts or coordinated inauthentic behavior; circumvent any content filtering or moderation systems; interfere with or disrupt the Services or servers; collect or harvest user information without consent; use automated systems or bots to access the Services without authorization; or engage in any activity that violates applicable laws or regulations.

Violations of these guidelines may result in content removal, account suspension, or permanent ban at our discretion.

Real Movie Reviews offers optional paid subscription plans ("Pro") that provide additional features such as an ad-free experience. By subscribing, you agree to pay all applicable fees and authorize us to charge your selected payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel.

Subscription fees are billed in advance on a monthly basis. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or the applicable app store. Cancellation will take effect at the end of the current billing period, and you will continue to have access to Pro features until that time. We do not provide refunds for partial subscription periods unless required by applicable law.

We reserve the right to modify subscription pricing with reasonable notice. Price changes will apply to subsequent billing periods after the change is announced.

The Services may display advertisements, including affiliate advertisements and sponsored content. By using the free version of the Services, you consent to the display of such advertisements. Advertisements may be targeted based on information collected through the Services as described in our Privacy Policy. Pro subscribers enjoy an ad-free experience as part of their subscription benefits.

The Services may contain links to third-party websites, services, or content, including movie information provided by The Movie Database (TMDB). We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or content of any third-party services. Your use of third-party services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies.

Movie data, including titles, posters, and related information, is provided by TMDB and is subject to their terms of use. Real Movie Reviews is not affiliated with or endorsed by TMDB or any movie studios.

The Services and all content, features, and functionality (excluding User Content) are owned by Real Movie Reviews or our licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. The Real Movie Reviews name, logo, and all related names, logos, and designs are trademarks of Real Movie Reviews.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Services or included content, nor may you reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code of our software, unless permitted by law or with our express written consent.

We respect the intellectual property rights of others and expect our users to do the same. If you believe that your copyrighted work has been copied in a way that constitutes copyright infringement, please provide our designated copyright agent with the following information: a physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or authorized representative; identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed; identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing and its location on the Services; your contact information; a statement that you have a good faith belief that the use is not authorized; and a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on their behalf.

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE, THAT DEFECTS WILL BE CORRECTED, OR THAT THE SERVICES OR SERVERS ARE FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS.

User Content and opinions expressed on the Services are those of the individual users and do not represent the views of Real Movie Reviews. We do not endorse any User Content or guarantee its accuracy, completeness, or usefulness.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL REAL MOVIE REVIEWS, ITS AFFILIATES, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, OR AGENTS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, PUNITIVE, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES, INCLUDING DAMAGES FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, GOODWILL, USE, DATA, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICES.

IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL CLAIMS EXCEED THE AMOUNT PAID BY YOU, IF ANY, FOR ACCESSING THE SERVICES DURING THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($100), WHICHEVER IS GREATER.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Real Movie Reviews and its officers, directors, employees, agents, and affiliates from and against any and all claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the Services; your User Content; your violation of these Terms; your violation of any third-party rights, including intellectual property or privacy rights; or any claim that your User Content caused damage to a third party.

We may suspend or terminate your account and access to the Services at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Reasons for termination may include violations of these Terms, fraudulent or illegal activity, extended periods of inactivity, or upon your request.

Upon termination, your right to use the Services will immediately cease. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnification, and limitations of liability.

You may delete your account at any time through your account settings. Upon account deletion, we will remove your profile information, though some User Content may remain on the Services as permitted by our Privacy Policy.

Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services shall first be attempted to be resolved through informal negotiation. If a dispute cannot be resolved informally within thirty (30) days, you agree that any legal action or proceeding shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Michigan, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of such courts.

You agree to waive any right to a jury trial and to participate in any class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration against Real Movie Reviews.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Michigan, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any legal action or proceeding arising under these Terms will be brought exclusively in the federal or state courts located in Michigan.

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect. Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision.

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any other agreements expressly incorporated by reference, constitute the entire agreement between you and Real Movie Reviews concerning the Services and supersede all prior agreements, understandings, and communications, whether written or oral.
