Reviews go through our AI moderation system to ensure quality and compliance with our community guidelines. Common reasons for rejection include:
- Review is too short (minimum 50 words required)
- Content is primarily a plot summary without personal analysis
- Contains hate speech, harassment, or discriminatory language
- Includes spam, advertisements, or off-topic content
- Violates copyright or contains inappropriate material
If you believe your review was incorrectly rejected, you can contact us using the Content & Moderation category above.
To maintain quality content on Real Movie Reviews, all reviews must meet these requirements:
- Minimum of 50 words
- Maximum of 5,000 words
- Must be your own original content
- Should include personal analysis or opinion, not just plot summary
- Must comply with our community guidelines
Reviews containing spoilers should use the spoiler warning option to alert other users.
You can delete your account from your profile settings. Go to your Profile, tap Settings, and select "Delete Account." This action is permanent and will remove your profile information. Note that some of your public content (reviews, comments) may remain visible but will be disassociated from your account. If you need assistance, contact us using the Account Issues category above.
To report a review, comment, or user profile, tap the three-dot menu (•••) on the content and select "Report." Choose the reason for your report and submit. Our moderation team reviews all reports and takes appropriate action. You can also contact us directly using the Content & Moderation category if you need to provide additional context.
On the sign-in screen, tap "Forgot Password?" and enter your email address. You'll receive an email with a link to reset your password. If you don't receive the email within a few minutes, check your spam folder. If you're still having trouble, contact us using the Account Issues category above.
Yes! You can edit or delete your reviews at any time. Navigate to the review you want to modify, tap the three-dot menu (•••), and select "Edit" or "Delete." Edited reviews will go through the moderation process again before being republished.
